"The Big Day Out is an annual event held by Dogs Victoria to give the interested general public the opportunity to see a large number of pedigree dog breeds in the one location. It is then possible to find the attributes you are looking for in a dog companion and discuss these with interested breeders. It is usually held in December just prior to Christmas and entry and parking are free. Other activities involving dogs occur and it is fun to see the various skills on display.

The Dandies are presented by Dandies in Oz, a group of owners who want to see the breed continued and shared in Australia.
